Last night while I was eating dinner (half a bag of potato chips and a glass of wine) and clicking through some of my favorite blogs on my laptop, I discovered something so wonderful it sent chills down to my toes. A shoe society that let’s you build your shoe collection for less than a monthly gym membership. (yeah, I haven’t been using mine either)      

 

     Here’s how it works: Fill out a “style sensibility questionaire” to determine your fashion personality. Celebrity Stylists then pick out five styles of shoes based on your personality and e-mail you your choices. You pick one, they ship it to you, you’re charged $39. This is the monthly membership of Kim Kardashian’s latest business venture; a shoe society called Shoedazzle.com. The rules seem pretty simple. You’re not charged until you actually make your selection for the month. If you don’t like any of the choices that they send you, call them and they’ll e-mail you additional styles. Shipping is free and if you don’t like the shoes once you get them, you can always return them (they provide the return shipping label.) You can cancel anytime which means you’re not committed (perfect for the fashionably fickle).  

          I keep trying to find the “catch” but, so far so good. I just got my first e-mail with my five shoe choices. I’m leaning toward either the black Artemisa or the tortoiseshell Ember but, if you make a case for one of the other pairs, I can be persuaded. Let me know what you think!
