Here’s a new idea for Spring: take some time to freshen up your office work space. Since you spend countless hours behind your desk, it should be a space that inspires you and that you (gasp) actually look forward to being in. I decided to brighten up my desk a few months ago and I am so much more productive in my little space. 

     The great thing about dressing up your work space is that it’s relatively small so, it takes very little time and money to give it a whole new look. I added a stack of colorfully bound books, a few pretty picture framed photos, and tacked up cards and invites that I’ve received in the mail. I also invested in vibrantly decorated office supplies. Target has a great selection of bright staplers, pens, notepads, and filers. And of course, I couldn’t resist the unabashed girliness of these accessories from Bed, Bath, and Beyond. They’re for the bathroom but, I’m using them for my desk to organize pens, paperclips, etc.

      If you need some inspiration, one of my favorite blogs, Coco+Kelley, recently did an office decorating series that features some of the cutest work spaces I’ve ever seen. I loved the offices of Ruby Press and Maison Luxe; two bright and airy buildings that are every girls dream to work in. Indulge and Enjoy! Love Jane
