House of Petro Zillia

What you’ll find at Petro Zillia’s kitschy boutique on West 3rd St.:
a) Pink velvet hangars that display colorful clothing in silk, satin, and brocade. I challenge you to keep your hands off of the brushed cotton eyelet or soft chiffon appliques! The racks of vibrant fabrics and textures yearn to be touched.
b) Jewelry and accessories stacked and strewn about like your very glamourous granny’s attic. Surrounded by all of the glorious colors and trinkets, we almost stripped down and started playing dress-up.
c) Sweet and trendy shop girls that are eager to assist. Like Natalie, who rescued me from the girl with bad hair and stink face that tried to cut in front me in line. And Meredith, who smiled and kindly asked if I was looking for the price on that wallet. (Why is it so embarrassing to get caught looking for the price tag at high-end boutiques?)
d) Nony. The petite woman with black rimmed glasses and a swirl of cotton candy-pink hair that created Petro Zillia. Along with her own line of gorgeous garments are designers, such as, Sass & Bide, Hoss, Smoke & Mirrors, and Members Only.
* A note of caution: You will inevitably be drawn to the gorgeous golden light of the shop’s centerpiece; a sparkling chandelier centered over the cash register. You won’t leave empty handed. Consider yourself warned.
Indulge and Enjoy! Love Jane
